SynMax-2
SynMax-2 is a leading solar technology on the basis of N-type monocrystalline silicon, TOPCon cell structure and correspondingly improved encapsulating technologies. SynMax-2 provides excellent performance and reliability for solar modules.
TOPCon, a Brand New Cell Technology
We make tunneling oxide layer and other ingenious structures on N-silicon substrate to create an innovative cell structure which provides us extremely high efficiency and other advantages. TOPCon cell can reach 28.7% as its upper limit of conversion efficiency, while PERC can reach 24.5%. SynMax-2 Technology enables us to provide a brand new solution and product for our customers.
How does SynMax-2 bring us excellent performance
N-Silicon wafer is doped with Phosphorus, which avoids to form boron-oxygen pair after initial illumination. Boron-oxygen pair is common in P-silicon, which is doped with Boron. It will lead to light-induced degradation(LID) after a recombination center is formed. In N-Silicon, there is almost no loss from recombination center formed by boron-oxygen pair, which greatly reduces light-induced degradation(LID).
TOPCon cell applies innovative passivation contact technology and tunneling oxide layer, which further reduce recombination rate, improve passivation performance and electrical conductivity.
Therefore N-Silicon TOPCon can bring us higher efficiency and electricity yield performance.
